The Electra Cocktail Club is the Venetian’s newest attraction. Featuring a staggering 40-foot digital canvas to set the night’s mood, we created two animated art pieces that play on daily rotation. “Lights Out”, a galaxy-inspired piece that features an infinite display of color-shifting Edison bulbs, and “Neon Swell” a sexy James Bond-inspired sequence showcasing colorful body scapes.

Neon Swell was the first of two pieces created for the Electra Video Wall. Inspired as a sexy James Bond esque title sequence. We filmed tight shots of the human form that made their bodies feel like giant landscapes. The piece drives the atsmophere at Electra, and has influenced the marketing and promo materials of the club.

Lights Out was the second of two pieces created for the video wall. This more ambient piece combines light bulbs with the cosmos as it portrays an infinite field of starry-like points of light. As the piece plays, the lightbulbs change color, creating a ripple effect of mood lighting that spills onto the floor.

At the beginning of every art installation project, we present a series of concepts that could be ultimately executed. While the two current pieces at Electra are “Neon Swell” & “Lights Out”, over time more concepts add to the library of digital art displayed in the space.
