A sense of belonging.

 

I’ve spent 95% of my professional career inside the evolving walls of Digital Kitchen.

From designer/animator to Creative Director and everything in-between. My days were generally spent; thinking, strategizing, talking, listening, making, experiencing… Repeat.

Digital Kitchen was a Creative Experience company. Whether that experience was a piece of content, a physical installation, a team ritual, we embraced each job as its own unique set of boundaries. The common thread throughout the work was the idea of “belonging”.

It’s simple, if you feel like you don’t belong, you leave.

Today, people actively seek out communities to be apart-of, and through common values, shared experiences, and compelling storytelling you create a reason to belong. Those connections can build authentic relationships between people and brands. My time at DK has shaped who I am as a creative, and my own philosophy on connecting brands with people.

Inside DK

As Creative Director and Resource manager, I was in charge of shepherding DK’s culture and core values, communicating it both internally and externally. My responsibilities included recruitment and staffing, management of creative teams across three offices, speaking with clients and the industry, leading new business efforts, and owning the ping pong table.

Immersive Experiences

Digital Kitchen’s work in immersive experiences set us apart from traditional production companies. Taking a holistic approach to merging physical with digital, we brought narrative’s to spaces providing a point of view for environmental storytelling.

Broadcast & Production

Digital Kitchen’s rich history in production and entertainment provided my foundation as a creative. From developing broadcast work with agencies to designing main title sequences for entertainment, the work continuously stretched my skillsets as an artist.
